When a car’s battery is dead, it doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the car battery. With a small boost called jump starting, the battery can come back to life and serve you for a relatively long time. It is important for every driver on the road to know how to jump start a car.

With a jumping cable that is not damaged and a working battery, all that you need to jump start a car is the working knowledge.

Park the cars as close to each other as it is possible. The batteries should be in opposite positions where a connection can easily be done. With caution, connect the red labeled clamps to both the positive terminals of the two batteries.

Afterwards, connect one of the black labeled clamps to the negative terminal of the good battery. Clam the other black side to a metal piece of the bad car. Switch on the cars one after the other starting with the good car.
