As with any area of your vehicle, your brake pedal may need repair or replacement at some point during your vehicles lifetime. Here are some common things to watch out for if you suspect there's a problem with your brake pedal.
When you apply your brake, you may notice a high-pitched squealing noise coming from the vehicle. This screeching may take place even after you've tried to replace the brake pads. The pedal itself may look very worn or damaged. A vibration or pulsing sensation may take place when you apply pressure to the brake pedal.
When your vehicle is in motion and you press down on the pedal, you might feel a number of odd issues. For example, the pedal should smoothly go down. There shouldn't be too much or too little resistance. There also shouldn't be any clicking or quick bursts of motion.
