When was the last time you took out a multimeter and used it to learn about the voltage of your van, truck or car's battery? If it has been a few months since you have gone through this process, then it would be wise to do so again quite soon.

Fortunately, making sense of the voltage reading that your multimeter will provide you with is fairly easy. You can then compare that number with some rough guidelines for proper voltage levels. 12.6 volts is the lowest amount you should feel comfortable seeing wile examining your car's battery while the vehicle is at rest.

In contrast, Springfield's drivers who chose to measure voltage while a vehicle has its engine powered on should be concerned if this measurement falls outside the range of 14.7 to 13.7 volts. If you are concerned about your battery's voltage, then contact Piazza Honda of Springfield's technicians.
